About Dongjiao Coconut Grove
Winding footpaths pass through the trees towards small buildings and the sandy shore. Its appeal is the repeated pattern of trunks, the shade beneath the canopy and the change from cultivated grove to open beach.
Choose a simple circuit through the palms and back along a public shore access. The grove is a lived-in coastal area with accommodation and eating places, so a visit works best as an unhurried look at the landscape. Stay on public paths around houses and businesses, and treat sea activities as separate locally managed arrangements.
