About Fenghuang Mountain National Forest Park
The Air Garden is the park's high-mountain landscape of exposed stone fields, wetlands, birches and dwarf pines. In the Grand Canyon, waterfalls run through a much more enclosed setting of slopes and vegetation. These two named areas give the park its contrast between open mountain scenery and a forested gorge.
The park's interpretation hall presents its geological structure, natural ecology and the history of the forestry area. A separate plant specimen hall explains plant diversity and development, adding context to the vegetation seen across the mountain.
