About Kai Tak Sports Park
The main stadium’s pearlescent exterior changes appearance with light, while its retractable roof is part of the building’s event infrastructure. The nearby arena provides a different, enclosed venue at a smaller scale. An ordinary visit should focus on the precinct and exteriors unless an event or authorised visit includes entry; the seating bowls are not general public attractions.
What to look for
- The stadium’s faceted pearlescent cladding changes tone with the light.
- The arena and stadium show contrasting forms within the former airport precinct.
