About Hong Kong Palace Museum
The current programme includes Ming ceramics in Gallery 3 and horse-themed masterpieces in Gallery 4, so a focused visit can compare objects, painted images and the ways they were used or understood. Displays rotate. As checked on 6 September 2026, Galleries 2 and 5 have been closed since 14 August and Gallery 9 since 1 September, all until further notice; select the open galleries before booking.
What to look for
- Gallery 3’s Ming-ceramics display compares the forms and decoration of courtly vessels.
- Gallery 4’s horse-themed programme presents paintings and other Palace Museum masterpieces, subject to rotation.
