About Taipa Central Park

Shaded routes and sitting areas make it a useful pause between urban visits. The children’s area at the Avenida de Kwong Tung corner has a sea-exploration theme, centred on a ship-like play structure, with other equipment for different activities. Treat it as a neighbourhood park: the play spaces and quiet paths provide the main visit without requiring a scheduled attraction.

Taipa Central Park opened on 31 December 2012. It was built by the Macau Special Administrative Region government to support Taipa's development and improve residents' living environment, at a total investment of 440 million patacas. The park is described as the outer islands' most fully equipped municipal park.

It covers more than 28,000 square metres, of which about 13,000 square metres is green space. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor multi-purpose sports court, a library, a jogging track around the park, a pet activity area, a fitness area, and a two-level underground car park with 2,600 spaces. Sun Ho Plaza (星皓广场) stands opposite the park.
