About Ye Jianying Memorial Park
The late-Qing dwelling uses earth and lime construction and a single entrance; only part of its rooms belonged to Ye’s immediate family. Beside it, the geometric memorial building and seated bronze statue create a deliberate change in scale. Begin with the domestic architecture, then move through the exhibition and forecourt to understand how the former home became a commemorative landscape.
What to look for
- The former home preserves a single-entrance Hakka layout in earth-and-lime construction.
- A seated bronze statue stands before the geometric modern memorial building.
