About Bajiaozhai · Guangxi Side
The viewpoint called Whales in the Sea looks across the clustered hills; in mist, the analogy becomes particularly clear. Dragon Ridge’s stepped route shows the narrow, steeply cut character of the rock at closer range. This is a managed mountain visit with substantial exposed terrain, so choose the open marked circuit that suits your abilities and conditions.
What to look for
- Whales in the Sea overlooks a dense group of rounded Danxia hills.
- Dragon Ridge’s cut stone steps follow a sharply defined rock ridge.
