About Youli
The traditional account of his imprisonment and work on the Book of Changes gives the place its meaning, but the visible memorial architecture belongs to subsequent generations. Yanyi Archway, the platform associated with interpreting the hexagrams, and inscribed steles make that commemorative landscape tangible. Read the stories as inherited traditions alongside the material evidence of settlement.
