About Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence
Galleries inside the redoubt connect coastal military structures with the wartime experience of Hong Kong. Outside, the historical trail reaches surviving defensive works, including batteries and the Brennan Torpedo Station. The museum adopted its present name in September 2024. Treat the indoor galleries and sloping outdoor trail as distinct parts of the visit, checking which trail sections are accessible.
What to look for
- Casemate galleries use the fort’s enclosed defensive rooms to present military and wartime history.
- The historical trail connects surviving batteries and the Brennan Torpedo Station.
