About Zhangjiajie Museum
The ground-floor geological display provides a useful introduction to the landscape, while the upper historical galleries move through local stories, cultural traditions and the past century. Collections such as a kneeling Han bronze figure and a tiger-shaped seal add detail beyond scenery photographs. The museum is especially useful before the mountain parks, helping visitors ask what formed the rock landscape and how people have lived within it.
