About Luohanyan Scenic Area
Candle Peak is a striking freestanding pillar near the entrance. Farther along the visitor paths, Crescent Moon Lake reflects the surrounding cliffs, while the broad rock shelter offers views of the contrasting Mawei and Mishai waterfalls. A lower-level circuit can focus on these features; the narrow cliff ascents require a separate decision about conditions and fitness.
What to look for
- Candle Peak, the isolated rock pillar near the scenic entrance.
- Mawei and Mishai waterfalls, one concentrated like a horse’s tail and the other dispersed into fine droplets.
