About Lashihai Wetland Park
Seasonal migratory birds make the water and wetland margins especially interesting in winter, though numbers and species vary. Plan a quiet observation visit using the public park routes, comparing open water with the shallower edge vegetation. Commercial horse-riding operations around the lake are separate choices and should not be assumed to form part of wetland admission.
What to look for
- Open water and shallow wetland margins create contrasting lake habitats.
- Seasonal migratory birds provide an observation focus, particularly in winter.
