About Red Market
Red brick, a central tower and smaller corner towers distinguish it from the surrounding apartment blocks. Inside, fresh produce and food stalls continue the building’s everyday role after its 2024 reopening following renovation. Start by looking at the exterior’s geometric outline, then browse the market as a place of daily shopping. The former temporary market location is no longer the correct destination for this historic building.
What to look for
- The red-brick Art Deco facade is punctuated by central and corner towers.
- Fresh-food stalls show the building’s continuing use as a neighbourhood market.
