About Tianyi Valley
Guang'an's tourism bureau describes Tianyi Gu as a national AAAA tourist area, a landform formed where the mountain and gorge watercourses of Huaying Shan meet a karst fault system, with karst caves and waterfall groups packed into a gorge only a few kilometres long. The bureau describes a large waterfall inside one of the caves, running more than 800 metres in three tiers — upper, middle and lower — as it drops from the cave roof; directly opposite the scenic area's entrance stands a separate natural waterfall tens of metres high and wide.
Linshui County's own tourism page puts numbers on that density: more than 60 karst caves and more than 120 waterfalls of various sizes within the scenic area, at Group 9, Lianhe village, Mujia town.
