About Qixingtan Beach
The rounded stones, surf and mountain backdrop are the main attraction. Changes in cloud and light can alter the coast dramatically, so a short shoreline visit can be as rewarding as a longer outing.
Follow the established seafront paths for views along the curve of the bay. This is a place for coastal scenery and walking; do not assume a pebble beach is a supervised swimming area. Hualien’s northern coastal cycle route offers another way to experience the setting when conditions and your chosen rental arrangements suit.
