About Tsedang
Local origin stories associate the mountain with the ancestors of the Tibetan people, while the area is also known for handwoven zethar woollen cloth. South of the urban streets, Changzhu Temple and the hilltop palace-temple of Yumbulagang provide a compact introduction to early Tibetan religious and royal traditions. Explore the old town first, then arrange the short regional road excursion as a separate part of the visit.
What to look for
- The old-town streets below Gongbori, whose mountain setting underlies local origin traditions.
- Traditional zethar weaving, where a local workshop or shop is open, and the nearby Changzhu temple landscape.

Use Tsedang/Zedang in Nedong District as the urban destination, and specify the old town below Gongbori Mountain for the first stop.
- Arrange a vehicle for the separate southward visits to Changzhu and Yumbulagang rather than treating them as streets within the old town.
