About Gemu Goddess Mountain
The visitor route starts near Nisai village and uses a ropeway to reach the mountain’s cave area. Inside Goddess Cave, a narrow opening leads into a limestone chamber with stalactite formations. Outside, the elevated outlook reveals the lake’s bays and shoreline below. The cave visit is not the same as reaching the mountain summit; choose this outing for the lake panorama and the religious landscape.
What to look for
- Goddess Cave contains limestone formations within a narrow-entry chamber.
- The elevated viewing area looks across Lugu Lake and its enclosing mountains.
