About Daming Mountain Scenic Area
Longmen Waterfall gives the lower landscape a water-shaped focus, while the Longmen Feidu suspension bridge reveals the depth of the gorge. The Mingfei Seven Peaks form a jagged skyline, with pines clinging to rock faces. Choose the open scenic route according to conditions and your ability; the peaks are a viewing subject, not an invitation to leave the managed paths.
Daming Mountain rises to 800 meters in Lin'an (临安) district, Hangzhou, within a scenic area covering 30 square kilometers. It is characterized by cliff-bound peak forests, canyon waterfalls and high mountain meadows, and is recorded as having 230 scenic features (景源). The area is developed mainly for sightseeing, summer holidays and wellness tourism, and is rated a national AAAA-level scenic area (国家AAAA级景区), and a provincial-level scenic and historic area (省级风景名胜区) in Lin'an. The scenic area has four themed zones, including the Longmen Canyon (龙门峡谷) and the Cloud Lake Paradise (云湖乐园) zones.

Use the scenic entrance at No 158 Hengxi Bridge, Baiguo Village, Qingliangfeng Town in Lin’an. Confirm which internal transport and mountain route are available before starting the ascent.
