About Nanwan Reservoir
Tea Island links the visit to Xinyang’s tea-growing culture, while Bird Island provides a wooded contrast to the open water. A boat journey is central to the island experience, making weather and the day’s operating route important to the visit. The lake’s tourism story should not be confused with the age of older temples and settlements around it.
