About Shiyan Museum
Its displays show how both the surrounding landscape and the city’s industrial development shaped local history. The building itself uses contrasting stone and glass surfaces with references to regional symbols. Choose a few themes from the current gallery plan rather than treating the museum as a quick stop devoted only to cars or only to the South-to-North Water Diversion project.
What to look for
- Interpretation of prehistoric life and the Wudang cultural landscape.
- The relationship between water development, vehicle manufacturing and modern Shiyan.
