About Danzishi Old Street
Its terraces connect the former waterside trading area with courtyards and decorative landmarks higher on the slope. Wang Family Courtyard has been rebuilt with stages inside and outside, so it should be appreciated as a reconstruction rather than an untouched Qing residence. The ascent towards Baisui Archway reveals the district’s layered form, with pauses to look back towards the river and the former wharf area.

Approach Changjiahui Danzishi Old Street from Nanbin Road in Nan’an. Select a drop-off for the lower waterfront side or the upper street entrance according to your route, since the two ends sit at different levels.
