About Maling River Canyon
Waterfalls descend along the gorge walls, with hanging vegetation and connected cave features adding detail to the narrow river landscape. Its main visual effect comes from looking across and into a fissure-like valley rather than up at an isolated mountain.
Choose the signed canyon-viewing route and allow time to compare the waterfalls with the enclosing rock. Flow changes with rainfall, so the gorge itself is the consistent feature. Rafting has a history here, but it is a separate activity with its own operational conditions and should not be assumed to be part of an ordinary scenic-area visit.

Getting to Maling River Canyon
The scenic canyon is north-east of Xingyi in Qianxinan. Arrange a road arrival at the Maling River Canyon visitor entrance and choose the managed viewing route there; any rafting departure is a separate arrangement.
