About A-Ma Statue
The statue is assembled from carved stone blocks, and its 19.99-metre height refers to Macao’s 1999 handover. The setting makes this a hilltop monument visit rather than a city-temple stop. Along the approach, the arboretum and the main entrance to the Coloane Trail provide possible additions, but they need separate route choices rather than an assumed short walk from the summit.
What to look for
- The large white-marble A-Ma statue is the summit’s focal point.
- The approach passes the Coloane Arboretum and a signed trail entrance.
