About Nanjing Yunshuiyao Tulou Area
Yunshuiyao combines a village walking route with the Hegui and Huaiyuan tulou in Nanjing County.
The visitor area brings together large earthen buildings, an old path and a rural water-side setting. Comparing the square Hegui building with the round Huaiyuan building gives the visit a clear architectural focus. This is a separate component of Nanjing's tulou tourism from Tianluokeng and Taxia, so a photograph or ticket labelled only Fujian Tulou is not specific enough for navigation.
The two main tulou supply an architectural comparison, while the old path explains their village context. Pause to look at the relation between the buildings and the water, rather than taking only close facade views. Sections inside or above the main courtyard may have different access arrangements, and an occupied home should not be treated as an unrestricted museum.
