About Tacheng Accordion Museum

The city government's page describes the hall as the country's only accordion museum and lists instruments from China, Russia, Germany and Italy among more than ten countries, with the oldest — a hand-made instrument — more than a hundred years old.

Xinhua records that the accordion has become a marker of Tacheng, played at festivals and family gatherings, and that the city is popularly known as the 'city of the accordion' (手风琴之城).

The 'only accordion museum in the country' statement is the city page's own and is attributed as such here rather than stated as an independent fact.
