About Xianggong Mountain
From above, the water forms a strong line between densely grouped limestone peaks, making the structure of the landscape easier to read than from river level. Morning light and mist can change the scene considerably, but neither clear weather nor a cloud sea is assured. The visit centres on the climb and viewing terraces rather than a long mountain expedition.
What to look for
- The elevated view follows the Li River as it curves between limestone peaks.
- The summit terraces show several layers of hills receding across the river valley.
