About Fengxiang Wetlands Park
Its constructed wetlands were designed to filter water biologically, so the planting and water surfaces have an environmental function as well as a visual one. The park offers a way to observe urban river restoration at the scale of paths, planted beds and connected water areas.
Look at the relationship between vegetation and water as you move through the public park. Different planted sections can be read as parts of a working treatment landscape rather than isolated flower beds. The river corridor supplies the broader setting; claims about measurable water quality require monitoring data and should not be inferred from appearance alone.
What to look for
- Constructed wetland planting forms part of the park’s water-filtering landscape.
- Connected water areas show the relationship between the park and the Meishe River corridor.
The surrounding area
