About Tangya Tusi City

The monumental stone arch, carved human and horse figures, and tomb remains help explain the authority and ritual life of its former rulers. Much of the city is read through foundations and site interpretation rather than standing palace rooms. It belongs to the UNESCO Tusi Sites inscription and is distinct from the modern Tusi-themed visitor complex in central Enshi.

What to look for

  • The monumental stone arch and carved stone figures.
  • Palace-site remains and the burial landscape behind the former city.
