About Harqin Prince’s Mansion
Successive courtyards run along a central axis, with side compounds and a rear garden balancing formal reception spaces and domestic life. Its museum interpretation also follows Prince Gungsangnorbu's educational initiatives at the turn of the twentieth century. The neighbouring Fuhui Temple belonged to the princely household, but the mansion's courtyard sequence alone makes a coherent introduction to the estate.
What to look for
- The central sequence of five courtyards and the adjoining residential compounds.
- The rear garden and museum interpretation of the princely family, including Gungsangnorbu.
