About Yunshi Mountain
A stone path passes through two defensive gateways to Yunshan Temple, a modest Hakka-style courtyard building. The temple housed the Soviet government’s leadership in the months before the 1934 withdrawal. The compact climb links an unusually defensible natural outcrop with the rooms and grounds where this final Ruijin headquarters operated.
What to look for
- The narrow stone ascent and its two gateways through the cliffs.
- Yunshan Temple, the courtyard building used by the Soviet government in 1934.
