About Tangmo Ancient Village
Tangmo is a Huizhou village in Qiankou Town whose water street and landscaped village entrance distinguish it from nearby historic settlements. Streams, bridges and traditional buildings form the main walking experience.
The village is particularly associated with shuikou, the landscaped points where water enters or leaves a settlement. Gardens, trees and small structures make water management and cultural ideas about the village boundary visible in the landscape. Along the central street, the stream and buildings can be appreciated together rather than as isolated monuments. Tangmo is one of the places grouped under Ancient Huizhou Cultural Tourism Area, but it has its own location and visitor route. It works well for travellers who want to compare village layouts after seeing Hongcun or Xidi.

Getting to Tangmo Ancient Village
Search for 唐模村 in 黄山市徽州区潜口镇. Do not confuse Huizhou District with Huizhou Ancient City in She County. Allow separate transfer time between villages and follow the designated visitor route around waterside edges and occupied homes.
