About Tiandu Peak · Yuping visitor-area reference
The approach is a demanding stair climb, subject to capacity, weather and conservation controls. The map reference is in the Yuping visitor area near Welcoming-Guest Pine, not at the summit itself. Visitors who do not take the peak route can still focus on Yuping’s pine-and-granite scenery.
What to look for
- The steep granite profile and Carp’s Backbone ridge on the Tiandu route when open.
- Welcoming-Guest Pine and the surrounding Yuping visitor area.
Location & getting there
Getting to Tiandu Peak · Yuping visitor-area reference
Reach Tangkou’s south-gate transfer centre, then use the planned Yuping-side scenic transport or walking approach. At Yuping, check the current Tiandu entrance arrangements and whether the climb suits your party before committing; the mapped visitor-area point is not the summit trailhead.
