About Western Han Jiuquan Scenic Park
Tradition says the general Huo Qubing shared an imperial gift of wine by pouring it into the spring for his soldiers. The spring monument, waterside pavilions and the willow associated with Zuo Zongtang connect that remembered past with a later landscaped park. It is a city garden with historical associations, not an untouched Han-period building complex.
