About Bailang Beach
Its name refers to the parallel lines of white surf often seen approaching the shore, while the alternative name Dapingpo reflects the flat expanse of sand. Look closely and the pale sand has darker mineral grains mixed through it. The wide tidal zone means that the shoreline changes substantially; choose a visit for the open coastal view and follow the managed beach access.
What to look for
- Repeated lines of white breakers give the beach its Bailang name.
- Pale sand mixed with darker titanium-bearing grains creates a distinctive surface.
