About Taipinggou Valley
The Longjiang Three Gorges form the river landscape, while Xinglong Gorge brings the view into forested slopes, spring-fed streams and waterfalls. Yuntiange serves both as a forestry fire lookout and as a viewpoint over the river gorges.
The Gold Town resort interprets gold rushes of the later Qing and Republican periods through a recreated town setting. It is a modern visitor complex inspired by that history, adding a cultural theme to the surrounding river and forest scenery.
