About Yeping Revolutionary Site
The First National Soviet Congress meeting place anchors the visit, with former government and communications offices distributed around the precinct. The Red Army Martyrs’ Memorial Tower adds a different, commemorative layer. Together these places explain how a rural village served as a political centre, while the shade of old trees and smaller buildings keeps the experience close to its village setting.
Yeping village became the seat of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic after the republic's establishment in November 1931, serving as its base for about one year and eight months. In April 1933 the provisional government moved to Shazhouba to avoid Nationalist army bombing. The building complex is managed by the Ruijin Central Revolutionary Base Memorial Hall (瑞金中央革命根据地纪念馆).
The site occupies more than 500 mu and comprises 23 revolutionary sites and memorial structures, sixteen of which are protected buildings, including the meeting place of the First National Soviet Congress (第一次全国苏维埃代表大会), the former site of the Soviet Area Central Bureau of the Communist Party (中国共产党苏维埃区域中央局), the Red Army Martyrs' Memorial Tower (红军烈士纪念塔) and the former Central Post Office (中央邮政局). The complex is listed as part of the Ruijin Revolutionary Sites (瑞金革命遗址), a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level (全国重点文物保护单位).
