About Hancheng Lake Park
It reuses the former Tuanjie Reservoir corridor and combines flood-management functions with a modern Han-themed landscape. Dafeng Pavilion is the conspicuous architectural landmark, while the Fengchan ceremonial square and sculptural works introduce imperial themes. Choose one stretch of the shoreline: the elongated park is more extensive than a single lake viewpoint suggests.
What to look for
- Dafeng Pavilion, a modern Han-inspired landmark beside the lake.
- Fengchan Square’s monumental gateway and Han-themed sculpture along the water landscape.
