About Mount Yi Scenic Area
Mount Yi is the Linqu part of the wider Yimeng mountain landscape. Its forested slopes, Dongzhen Temple and Yuhuangding summit make it a distinct destination from Mount Meng farther south.
The mountain combines natural scenery with the history of China's sacred regional mountains. Dongzhen Temple and its inscriptions give that history a physical setting, while Baizhangya Waterfall and the upper viewpoints show the changing terrain. The main summit, Yuhuangding, stands at about 1,032 metres. The linked local-gazetteer account describes the mountain's established landmarks; it should not be used as a current list of operating transport or facilities. Choose a route that balances the lower heritage stops with the amount of ascent you want rather than treating every named viewpoint as compulsory.
