About Qinbi Village
The narrow lanes, stone walls and changing roof levels are its defining features. Some buildings now hold small cafés, accommodation or cultural displays, while the settlement remains a place where people live.
Explore the village slowly from the public lanes, looking back towards the coast as you gain height. The compact layout is more rewarding on foot than from a vehicle. The sea-facing setting and weathered materials tell the story without requiring the village to be described as a completely untouched historic site.
What to look for
- Terraced granite houses follow the slope above the sea.
- Narrow public lanes reveal changing views between walls and roofs.
- Small adapted buildings connect the former fishing settlement with present-day village life.
