About Solitary Hill and Zhongshan Park

Zhongshan Park and the surrounding paths offer trees, slopes and close lake views, while cultural buildings give the island more than a purely scenic role. On the western hillside, Xiling Seal Art Society connects the landscape with calligraphy and seal carving. A visit can alternate between a garden stroll and a focused cultural stop without circling the whole lake.

Location & getting there

Getting to Solitary Hill and Zhongshan Park

Approach along Gushan Road from the Xiling Bridge side, or arrive on foot over Bai Causeway from Broken Bridge. Zhongshan Park pier is also a named lake-boat stop, subject to the chosen service.
