About Three Gorges Waterfall
Smaller cascades, rock walls and wooded stream sections lead towards the main fall. Its best-known close-up experience passes behind the falling water, but that section depends on weather and the operator’s safety decision. Visitors who prefer to stay drier can focus on the viewing platforms and the approach landscape. Check same-day access after heavy rain, when the gorge may close temporarily.

Getting to Three Gorges Waterfall
Go to the Three Gorges Waterfall visitor centre at Xinping Village in Huanghua Town, Yiling District. Arrange a road connection from Yichang and a return pickup at the same visitor area; this is not reached by simply taking a Yangtze sightseeing boat.
