About Lijiang Old Town History and Culture Gallery
Its four themes trace the town’s origins, historical changes, cultural traditions and future. Multimedia scenes connect migration, river crossings, architecture and heritage protection with the streets outside. It works well near the beginning of an old-town visit: a short indoor orientation gives more meaning to the waterways and domestic courtyards encountered later. This page refers to the north branch, not the separate gallery at Bailong Square.

Getting to Lijiang Old Town History and Culture Gallery
The north gallery is at 84 Jishan Lane, Xinyi Street, near the northern entrance of Dayan. Approach from Yuhe Square and the large waterwheels, then follow the pedestrian lane to the gallery.
