About Wanling Ancient Town
Its immigrant associations are visible in Huguang Guild Hall, where a shrine, meeting rooms and a stage served newcomers from other provinces. Darong Bridge gives the riverfront a distinctive low stone crossing. The town also contains restored and developed visitor buildings, so the most useful focus is the connection between the sloping street, communal halls and the old waterside trading landscape.
What to look for
- Huguang Guild Hall: shrine, meeting spaces and courtyard stage.
- Darong Bridge: a long, low stone-slab crossing of the Laixi River.
