About Queshi Scenic Area
Rounded weathering has produced boulders, gaps and cave-like spaces, while Tashan and Yanfeng create higher viewpoints above the shore. Choose one main hill route and stop to examine the rock forms on the way. A broad view across the water makes the city’s port setting easier to understand, but the terrain requires an uphill visit rather than a flat waterfront stroll.
What to look for
- Weathered granite creates rounded boulders and cave-like spaces along the hill routes.
- Tashan and Yanfeng provide elevated views above Shantou’s waterfront.
