About Chuanshan Scenic Park
The natural opening at Moon Rock contrasts with the enclosed, illuminated formations of Chuanshan Cave, while the Xiaodong River gives a lower-level view towards Tashan. Chuanshan Cave reopened after refurbishment in September 2025. Its redesigned lighting and reflective pool make the difference between the real stalactites and their inverted reflections particularly noticeable; older reports describing the cave as permanently shut are out of date.
What to look for
- Moon Rock forms an open passage through the hillside.
- Chuanshan Cave has illuminated stalactites and a pool reflecting the formations above.
