About Dachaidan Emerald Lake
Their blue and green tones contrast with white salt edges, with the appearance changing under different light and weather. The pools are part of an industrial salt-lake landscape, not a single untouched alpine lake. After the June 2026 earthquake closure, the main Dachaidan attractions were cleared to reopen according to the 28 June announcement.
What to look for
- Former extraction pools show contrasting blue and green water.
- White salt margins frame the smaller pools and their reflections.
