About Wusute Water Yardang Geopark
The contrast between pale, sculpted mounds and blue-green water is its defining view. Individual ridges resemble islands when the water reaches their bases. The operator announced reopening from 22 June 2026; use the current visitor route because lake levels and accessible viewpoints can change.

Getting to Wusute Water Yardang Geopark
Use the Wusute Water Yardang visitor centre at Xitai No. 2, beside the G315 900-kilometre marker. This is a remote road stop west of Dachaidan; arrange the onward drive and use the site’s sightseeing transport for its spread-out viewing stops.
