About Guide National Geopark
Its eroded ridges and exposed layers record changes in the plateau landscape and the development of the Yellow River system. The experience is about reading the colours and forms of the rock at different viewpoints. It is a separate outing from Guide’s old town and should not be confused with the much larger Kanbula UNESCO geopark.
What to look for
- The Ashigong peak clusters display contrasting rock colours.
- Eroded layers illustrate the region’s geological development.
