Bamboo on Mount Wufeng
The mountain’s tourist area lies 22 kilometres from the county seat. Its bamboo forest is dominated by nanzhu (楠竹) and baijiazhu (白夹竹). The folk-culture museum uses an eastern Sichuan residential style, with three courtyards arranged in a triangular grouping. Its exhibition themes include bamboo, local customs and history. A garden beside the museum brings together many different kinds of bamboo.
Qinghe’s streets
Qinghe Ancient Town lies in northern Dazhu County, 25 kilometres from the county seat. It is the hometown of General Fan Shaozeng (范绍增). Buildings along General Street (将军街) combine Chinese and Western architectural elements.
