Caohu City 草湖市

Caohu City (草湖市) is a newly established county-level city directly administered by the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Its establishment was announced by Xinjiang’s regional government on 17 April 2026, following central approval. The city government is based in Caohu Town.
